Dr Jim Williamson

Dr Jim qualified from the prestigious Guy’s Hospital in London and began his career in family dentistry with the National Health Service in the UK. Since moving to Australia in 2008, he has worked across both public and private sectors, including with the Government surgical department, long-standing general practice at Roseville Avenue, and more recently, practices on the Northern Beaches.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr Jim brings a calm, compassionate and highly communicative approach to dental care. He is known for taking the time to explain treatment options clearly and simply, ensuring patients feel informed and confident every step of the way. Whether it’s preventive care, managing dental disease, or restoring function with more complex treatment, Dr Jim focuses on long-term health, comfort and function.

In response to the growing demand for advanced and aesthetic dentistry, Dr Jim continues to invest in his professional development. He is trained in implant dentistry to replace missing teeth and clear aligner therapy to help patients achieve straighter, healthier smiles. His goal is to provide tailored, comprehensive solutions for the whole family in a way that balances quality, comfort, and care.

Outside the clinic, Dr Jim lives on the Northern Beaches with his two teenagers. He values both physical and spiritual wellbeing, keeping active in the gym and on the golf course. He also takes a keen interest in men’s mental health and wellbeing. True to his roots, Dr Jim brings a touch of English warmth and professionalism to everything he does.
